The Salamander Berlin 221 is a wenge wood finished tv cabinet suitable for LED, LCD and Plasma TV's up to 42 inches. The cabinet is built using a sturdy extruded aluminium chassis to support the heaviest of AV equipment - top surface load capacity for this tv stand is 150Kg. Two concealed cabinets sit behind wooden doors. There is a height adjustable shelf on each side that is capable of supporting 34Kg each.

Berlin cabinets are faced with an exotic dark wood called Wenge that has a richly textured horizontal pattern. Sleek black glass tops complete a look that’s decidedly metropolitan and perfectly suits contemporary rooms.

Salamander's AV cabinets all feature advanced passive cooling, but if you have equipment that is very large and requires additional cooling then there is the optional Active Cooling System that is designed to prevent heat buildup inside Chameleon cabinets. The system employs a remote thermostat and dual maintenance-free fans. When the thermostat is placed atop a component, fans provide precise cooling. The system replaces a standard rear cabinet panel.

This tv stand is perfect for concealing your av devices behind its veneered doors. IR remote control signals will not pass through the wooden doors and as such you may wish to purchase an IR extender kit. This will allow you to control the devices in this tv stand whilst leaving the wooden doors closed. We have two IR extenders available a 2 way for controlling 2 devices or 4 way to control up to 4 devices. (see options below)
