SGA-40 In Wall Speaker Amplifier Plate

The SGA-40 is a 20 watt per channel stereo wall and mounting amplifier with 4 audio inputs for sources such as ipods and other mp3 players. It is ideal for multi-room audio, classroom, hotel bedroom and small meeting room applications.

The SGA40 is supplied with a UK one gang white mounting frame and other suitable mounting frames are available in a wide range of finishes (see below). The SGA-40 itself is supplied with a black adhesive label attached, this can be removed if required, showing the white plate underneath. The SGA-40 fits a standard UK single width back box and requires only a 35mm depth, and it will also fit the single DIN back box as used in the European market.

The SGA-40 uses an 86% efficient class D design and has a RMS* output of 20 watts per channel into 8 Ohms when powered from an 18V power supply or 10 watts when powered by the included 12V power supply, and as most quality loudspeakers are 8 Ohms, maximum efficiency is assured. It is fitted with two rear inputs on screw terminals for permanent connections and two 3.5mm stereo jack on the front panel for other sources making the SGA-40 easy to install & use. Inserting a jack into the front socket will automatically disconnect the rear input.

When no signal is detected on the inputs, the plate goes into a low power standby mode.
