The Atacama Europa SE Hifi stand goes a step further than the previous model with improved high tensile stainless steel bosses which both improve rigidity and, due to the higher density of this material, have improved acoustic properties. This version comes with piano black glass and black anodised columns as standard.

Made using aerospace grade components and 10mm safety glass, Atacama Europa AV Hifi Rack is a truly stunning range of unique modular specialist equipment racks. Substantially upgraded for 2009, Europa now features improved cone to cup isolation, decreasing the contact area between each module by over 85%. We have also added two A.S.I.S.T (Atacama Sonic Isolation System Technology) gaskets to each leg to isolate and dampen any resonance picked up through the toughened piano black glass shelves. Weight capacity has also been improved to 30Kg per module.

The latest design from Atacama the Reference 8 SE Black, embodies both lifestyle appeal, whilst still offering features that any audiophile would demand from a dedicated audio/AV rack.
The Europa Reference 8 series is a modular design taking the concept used in Equinox one step further. The glass shelves are manufactured from black 10mm thick glass toughened to British Standards 6206A. The vertical columns are made from solid and tubular aerospace grade aluminium which is fastened to the glass shelves using Ultraviolet Bonding technology. Isolation is achieved by polished aluminium cones that are fitted on the end of each of the vertical columns. Each shelf module then simply stacks onto the shelf below, creating the rack you require.

The Europa Reference 8 is a mid size equipment rack for both audio and the latest flat panel televisions. The base shelf is supplied with polished aluminium feet and heavy duty isolation spikes are supplied as standard. Vertical columns are supplied in a black anodised finish and are available in three heights.
