Atacama Duo 6 Speaker Stands

The Atacama Duo 6 home speaker stands are 600mm tall and offer outstanding performance at an affordable price, a feature which is always associated with British-made Atacama products.

The Duo Series speaker stands are designed to support bookshelf speakers upto 250mm wide and 300mm deep. Speaker cables can be routed through the column of the speaker stand to keep your cables out of sight, enhancing the visual appeal of these speaker stands.

The Atacama Duo 6 includes acoustic isolation gel pads, which are designed to sit between your speakers and the stand's top plate. The pads are manufactured from a non-slip polyeurathane elastomer which give excellent sound and vibration resistance - they will isolate the speakers from the stand and enhance the sonic performance.

For improved performance, the front column of the duo 6 is designed to be mass loaded with Atabites, a specialist dense aggregate manufactured by Atacama, this increases the stands' mass and stability and reduce vibration in the stand and therfore improve the overall sound you experience fromt the speakers. Another clever option is the optional heavyweight mass-loading plate - this bolts to the underside of the base and increases stability and reduces vibration even further.

Height adjustable carpet spikes are included as standard, these further increase the stand's isolation and will ensure that the stand is upright and does not wobble on an uneven floor. If you have a wooden floor then you may wish to add the optional spike shoes to ensure the spikes do not damage your flooring.
