AM85177 Flat screen TV cleaner

A lot of todays modern LCD and LED TV's feature a plastic screen and cleaning must be carried out with great care, to avoid scratches. Most household cloths can actually cause much more harm than good by adding very fine scratches to the screen. Similarly, alcohol based cleaners can also damage the screen through blistering previous scratches. In short, many cleaners are actually doing more harm than good!

How Clean is your screen?

There are many different screen cleaning products on the market and customers receive varying advice on the matter from both flat screen manufacturers and retailers. Flat screen surfaces differ in quality although most of them are made of plastic. Plastic surfaces are very sensitive and are easily damaged or scratched by daily use and cleaning.

Tests show that the use of the wrong cloth, such as normal housekeeping cloths, can leave serious scratches on the surface even after cleaning only a few times.
